SUZANNE PELCHA
Artist Statement "Saturday on the Square" in pastels, by artist Suzanne Pelcha, has been chosen as the official poster artwork for the 34th Annual Leesburg Art Festival. After 17 years working for non profit organizations, Pelcha is now pursuing her dreams of drawing and painting. She has been recognized in the past by the Leesburg Center for the Arts as the official poster artist of the 2009 Art in the Gardens and Artist of the Year in 2010. She was the recipient of the 2009 Professional Development Grant by United Arts of Central Florida. She is currently a member of the Leesburg Center for the Arts, the Leesburg Art Association, and Vice President of the Pastel Society of Central Florida. You will find many of Suzanne's works for sale in space #310 at the Leesburg Art Festival. Limited edition giclee prints of "Saturday on the Square" will be available for purchase at the Leesburg Center for the Arts and the Information Booth on Town Square.
