As the Mayor of Leesburg, I am full of anticipation about the forthcoming events of our vibrant town. Nobody can say that we’re a sleepy little community in the heart of Lake County!!!!!

Coming up very soon is a most exciting event - our 2008 Leesburg Fine Art Festival and Jazz on the Square. Artists from near and far will be displaying their fine arts and fine crafts - a whole range of types of art from glass and sculpture to oil paintings and photography. You will find yourself walking through an open-air museum in our charming historic downtown, with a wide range of refreshments and entertainment in the Town Square and at the new Leesburg Public Library’s Amphitheater. There will be something here for every taste, and the chance to buy some beautiful works of art to take back to your home when the weekend of fun is over!

This is the 31st year that the Leesburg Fine Art Festival has been running – but the popularity grows every year, with 120 artists chosen from the many applicants received. The Leesburg Center for the Arts has made this a highly successful festival - and we are grateful to all the groups and individuals who have given their support and time to make this quality event possible.
