A juried fine arts and crafts show, The Leesburg Fine Arts Festival is celebrating its 28th year March 5 & 6, 2005 in historic downtown Leesburg, Florida. Some of the country's most accomplished artists as well as rising stars, via for the $2,500 Best of Show Award and additional merit awards.

Only original work may be displayed and offered for sale. The work must be attributable solely to the exhibitor and created after 2001. Artists must be with their exhibits during the entirety of the Festival. Sales agents and business representatives will not be allowed.

The Leesburg Fine Arts Festival is a family-oriented event. The work exhibited must be appropriate for viewers of all ages. The Festival Committee shall have sole, excusive and final authority to determine any work not acceptable for display at the Leesburg Fine Arts Festival. Any work determined to be unacceptable will be removed so as not to be viewed by the public during the Leesburg Fine Arts Festival.

Artists may enter more than one category for jury. A completed application, jury fee, slides, etc., must be submitted for each category entered.

Judging and Awards
$25,000 Total Awards!
Two judges will view each artist's work. Prizes are awarded on Saturday evening at the Artists' Award Ceremony. Cash awards totaling up to $15,000 will be awarded.

Best Show: $2,500
10 Merit Awards: $250

Each category will receive a cash award for the following:

1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $400
3rd Place: $300

 The Leesburg Fine Art Festival Collectors Circle Program guarantees a minimum of $10,000 in purchases.

 

The work of one exhibitor may be displayed in each assigned space. A team producing a single product such as glass, wood, etc. may qualify as a single exhibitor. However, teams may consist of no more than two persons and both names must be on the application. Only the work produced by the team may be shown. Both artists must sign the application.

The Committee reserves the right to ask any exhibitor for identification. If work is of a collaborative nature, all artists' names must appear on the application.
Slides submitted must represent the kind of works exhibited. If exhibited works differ significantly from the slides, the artist will be asked to leave and forfeit fees.

Leesburg Fine Arts Festival

All booth spaces are 12'x12' with ample room for a 10'x10' canopy. You may have a double space for double the fee. All artists must provide their own means of attractive display, sturdy enough to withstand crowds, wind and weather conditions. White professional display tents are required.

A Booth Identification Card will be provided at check-in and must be attached to the upper left corner of your display at all times during the Festival. An artist information statement should also be displayed. Commercial reproductions must be displayed in a browse box or single designated area, clearly marked "reproductions".

We reserve the right to refuse any application for any reason.
